Bumper Sticker Politricks - Another Installment

Recently, I saw this sticker on the back of a pristine ride being driven by a very content looking senior citizen.  The quick glance over lead me to believe he was one hell of a gentlemen.

Nice! I have to share a story about a friend of mine that I’ve met recently. He’s been at my place a few times and was expecting his first child–a son. For those that don’t know me, I have two boys 5 and 3 and he always came by to get a taste of what it would be like when his was born and raising him.

His son was born premature and is still in the hospital 3 months after delivery. They are hoping to have their baby back at home by Christmas but even that date isn’t really written in stone. Devastating beyond belief. I couldn’t imagine the turmoil they are going through.

I suppose this is going away from the original post, but damn if I will ever complain about how hard it was when my sons were born and what pains in the asses they were when at least I had the chance to bring them home healthy to bond with them when bonding was the only thing they needed in the world.

I guess I’m getting at the fact that so many people complain about wanting to be able to afford this or that or have the same things that Joe or Jane have, when we should all be focusing on what it is that we do have and cherish it forever. You never know what could or will happen.
